With Clik destroyed, every citizen who managed to find safety on the hill has become a refugee. When the earthquake passes, the city watches helplessly as a subsequent tsunami rips over the levees and floods Clik. Everyone in town flees to the hill to the north for safety as buildings crash around them. Claude and Rena are soon pickpocketed of their supplies, and they must catch the thief.Īfter the party retrieves their goods, a massive earthquake strikes. After introductions with the captain responsible for their voyage, the group is told to bunker down while the ship is loaded with cargo. The party enters Clik armed with a travel passport from the King of Cross. Imports from El pass through Clik on their way to the capital of Cross exports are shipped to El (probably to the city of Tenue, pre-collapse). The city maintains trade with other cities. However, as Clik is a bustling port, the city hosts many visitors with different beliefs, and alternative spiritual views pass unquestioned. In this way, Clik is unique to Expel, as Expellian religions are otherwise poly- or henotheistic. Locals of Clik are monotheists, believing in a creator goddess, Tria. True to most of the continent, the city residents at the start of the game remain materially unaffected by the cataclysm of the Sorcery Globe, and go about their daily lives unchanged. To the far north is a hillock that butts against the ocean, which offers the highest vantage point in the area. The economic center of the city is Fountain Plaza, by the oceanside. Clik's city center lies at the bank of the ocean, with the port to the south and business to the east, west, and north. Clik is a large trading city in the continent of Cross, with a non-playable character "population" of 42. ![]()
