which screwed me out of more than 41 points because the stated that the car was Repoed and not towed. So, they screwed me over at the end giving me a 30 day late payment after i paid on my credit. I had to pay for towing, repairs and they wanted me to continue to pay the $208 which I had $346 dollars left to pay off on the car for the car to be paid in full. Well, the car broke down while again, I had 2 remaining payments left and the car had to be towed because the car could not drive without assistance. I still continued payments even if it was something and I explained to them why. At the end when I was almost done paying on the vehicle my job cut my hours for me and my husband so I had to find other employment to keep up with our bills and the car payments, Which I informed carhop as always of all and any issues with my finances. During the duration of having this vehicle the car repeatedly broke down while I had to pay on the car. they wanted me to pay the 208 payment every 2 weeks and pay for the repairs which I managed throughout my entire loan by the way. The car ran for 2 weeks than broke down, than shortly after there was another issue. I will give the fact that they did work with me at the beginning when I got the car. As much as I paid for this vehicle, a brand new engine should have been installed and they still would have made 10x more than the vehicle was worth in the end and they would have had a happy customer. I the warranty it states that carhop, at their descretion may use either new or used replacement parts for break downs covered under warranty. basically telling him to make sure it has a little life left in it and make it look good cuz I've only got ***** miles left on the 18,000mi warranty and then when it goes out again it won't be their problem. I got to looking at the receipt I received from the repair shop and noticed on the receipt are emails between the repair shop and carhop where even the mechanic questioned the condition of the replacement engine due to the spark plug tunes being filled with oil and the carhop rep tells the tech to make sure the engine rotates and he'd send over some brake cleaner and a new valve cover gasket and to add another 1/2 hour of time to the labor estimate to get the engine cleaned up. *** day after I got the car home I looked under the vehicle and the oil pan on the used engine that carhop provided has silicon patching covering 85-90% of the visible surface of it. I asked how many miles were on the used engine and the repair tech said that information was not provided by carhop. When I picked the vehicle up from the repair shop they informed me that it was a used engine that was provided by carhop that was installed. *** engine is covered under warranty and they replaced it. *** motor went out within 1 year and ****** miles. closer to poor) for just under $18,000 after 3 years of bi weekly $250 payments with interest. ***y sold me a vehicle that bluebooks at $1500-$2000 IN GOOD CONDITION (the one they sold me barely qualifies as being in fair. This company takes advantage of people who don't have a lot of money, a poor credit score and who are desperately needing a car.
